Everything to know about your tax request.
Answers about the process, pricing, documents, data handling and special situations.
How is my data handled?
Core tax data, documents, hosting, storage and operational review are designed for Swiss processing. Selected processors may support payment and email where documented in the privacy policy.
What happens if I make a mistake in my submission?
Before final submission, you can return to earlier steps and correct your answers. After submission, contact us with your case reference as soon as possible. Corrections needed because local.tax made an error are included.
Can I correct my tax return after submission?
Contact us immediately. If the return has not yet been filed, we can normally update it. Once it has been filed, the available correction route depends on the canton and timing, and work outside the package may require an individual quote.
What if my situation turns out to be more complex than expected?
Diversus reviews the scope before additional work is started. We will propose the correct package or an individual quote, and no extra cost is incurred without your agreement.
Do I get tax optimisation advice, or just filing?
Your package includes professional review and the normal deductions relevant to its scope. It is not a separate comprehensive tax-planning mandate. Deeper optimisation, representation or specialist advice is assessed separately before work begins.
What exactly is included in the flat fee?
The listed package work, document review, normal support and follow-up questions, and corrections if local.tax made an error are included. The displayed price already includes VAT. Disputes, late filings, unsupported foreign or cross-border matters, and other out-of-scope services are not included.
Is my data stored after my return is filed?
Records required for service delivery, accounting, audit or legal obligations may be retained after filing. They remain encrypted and access-restricted. The privacy policy states the applicable retention periods, and deletion requests remain subject to mandatory retention duties.
What does fixed price mean?
The displayed package price includes VAT and covers preparation work inside that package scope. The net price and VAT are shown separately before payment. If your case does not fit, local.tax reviews it before asking you to pay.
What does wealth mean?
Wealth includes securities or ETFs, crypto, savings above CHF 100,000, participations and other declared assets. Property includes apartments, houses, holiday homes and rented property.
What happens after I start my tax request?
You choose a package, answer the guided questions, upload available documents, confirm the price or review path, and local.tax contacts you directly for the next step.
Can I upload documents later?
Yes. Start with what you already have. Missing documents can be submitted securely later, and local.tax can request specific files if something is missing.
When is a case complex?
A case is complex when it includes self-employment, rental property, foreign income or assets, inheritance, special deductions or another situation outside the fixed package scope.
